VITAL is a workbench for regulated life-sciences work. You write on a canvas page. You get help from a Chief of Staff or from named specialists. What you keep is the page plus the record of how it was made.

This is the operator documentation. It does not say Ask. The Face is the Workbench + New menu and the page right-rail.

Start here — Sign in lands on Hub. + New is the inventory. No Cohort Training auto-start.

1. Start here

Sign in and the Hub — /workbench after auth. Gate off. Tour does not auto-open.
+ New — Sidebar and Hub toolbar. Document or Consultation, then a workspace.
Document vs Consultation vs Coming Soon — Blank canvas, named specialist depth, or a toast that creates nothing.
Credits — Quick 1 · Research 5 · Expert Panel 10 · Catalogue 25. Orient is 0.

2. Workspace

Open a workspace — Hub or sidebar. Home is a group hub for pages, members, and activity.
Visibility — Private, shared, public. Teamspace membership does not open the room.
New workspace — New opens a dialog. Name the work. You land on home.
Members and activity — Owner, Member, Commenter, Viewer. Activity is this room’s ledger.
Knowledge pack is not Memory — Notes you add to this workspace. Not relationship memory.

3. Document

Blank canvas — New → Document. Empty page in the workspace you pick.
Orient on this page — Guide · Refer on the rail. Guide is not Consultation Quick.
Export and share — Page kebab formats. Gates ZIP. Share is page ACL.

4. Consultation

Quick — One specialist. Short 1
. 1 credit.
Research — Scope gate, sources, compile. 5 credits.
Expert Panel — Three to five specialists. Flat 10.
Catalogue — Regulatory Pathway Scan live at 25. Seven Soon.

5. On every Consultation page

Specialist or panel — +Hire, Hired, @mention. Panel stays open for 3–5.
Sources and citations — CoT rows, numbered-pill hover, Chicago References.
Evidence trail — Sources tab, Verify, Evidence child when compiled.
Add to page — Insert into the open canvas.
Follow-ups — Same depth. Agent chips deepen the topic.

6. Memory

What is remembered — This agent with you, promoted firm, workspace deliberation, agent craft.
Consent — Settings → Memory. Off until you opt in.
Not the knowledge pack — Pack is notes in the room. Memory is relationship.

7. Coming soon

Mission — Super Admin preview. Face labels only. Not live.
Dashboard and Presentation — Toast only. Not Create products.
Catalogue methods still coming — Seven Soon. Live parent: Regulatory Pathway Scan.

8. Account

Profile and settings — Profile, Account, Notifications, Appearance, Memory. 2FA Soon.
Billing — Partial. Command stub or Account with no wallet.
Trash and help — 30-day restore. Help links Settings and /docs.
